Redundant Box?

Today I bought a thing of contact lens cleaning solution, which comes in a bottle… that’s sealed in a box.

Why is there an extra box around the bottle? I guess the same applies to stuff like cough syrup. I had a few guesses that ended up still not making sense.

Styrofoam Peanuts

Includes Styrofoam (polystyrene) packing peanuts, not starch-based packing peanuts.
Styrofoam peanuts are non-biodegradable and toxic, whereas starch-based peanuts melt in water and are non-toxic. Salted peanuts are commonly consumed as snacks.

Dryer Lint

This stuff seems to be good for one thing and one thing only: setting on fire. Clean your lint trap often, as lint buildup decreases the efficiency of your dryer.
